HEMS is a thriving community
based in Hatch End, but welcoming members from a wide geographic
area which spans Harrow, Pinner, Bushey, Stanmore and Northwood.
The uniqueness of our Kehila is that we
provide friendly regular religious services where individuals
and families feel relaxed and are encouraged to participate;
that there is an ethos of collective care and support for other
members and people in need.
The HEMS community is extremely
close and active in terms of its religious, social, youth and
community activities. We hold regular social functions, adult
learning evenings, cheder and Bar and Bat Mitzvah classes, and
fundraising events. On the youth side, we work alongside NOAM
who run regular youth activities and club.
