Marom Young Adults Group

MAROM is an acronym for Mercaz Ruchani u'Masorti The center for spirituality and masoret (tradition.)

MAROM is an organization of Masorti (Conservative) students and young adults (18-30+) who come together for study, seminars, Shabbat and holiday celebrations, as well as for cultural and religious events. Marom is also a social group for people of the same beliefs to get together and meet one another.

MAROM believes in living a modern Jewish lifestyle, constantly learning and dealing with issues of day to day reality in a Jewish life. Marom believes in Zionism, Masorti Judaism and equal rights.

MAROM strives to strengthen the connections between Masorti students in Israel and those throughout the Diaspora, to deepen the awareness among Masorti young adults of the centrality of Israel, and to encourage "hagshamah" or "self-realization" through aliyah to Israel.

MAROM groups and activities can be found in Argentina, Chile, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Poland, Russia and Ukraine. In North America, Marom operates under the auspices of KOACH, the College Outreach Department of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism.

MAROM is under the auspices of Masorti Olami, MERCAZ Olami and the Hagshama Department of the World Zionist Organization.
