Rabbi Michael Foulds, OBE

Rabbi Michael lives in Buckhurst Hill, has been a member of New Essex Masorti Synagogue for over 15 years, previously serving as Synagogue Treasurer and Senior Warden.

"Around 200 people attended the induction of Rabbi Michael Foulds at New Essex Masorti Synagogue. In his address, guest speaker Rabbi Chaim Weiner, head of the European Masorti Beth Din, spoke of how Rabbi Foulds had been a diligent student when at Leo Baeck College. In his response, Rabbi Foulds, a former accountant, advised the audience that, unlike himself, if they wanted to become a minister, not to wait until they reached 58."*
